Report Respond to Painkiller Pavillioh, audio driver of the dv did it for me. If you have Windows 7 Click Start, enter audio in the search field and select. It used to work when Windows XP was installed. I have downloaded the drivers and even hooked up an external cd drive and no sound.
Report Respond to davser. Just google java and install the latest version and it should work fine.
I would have rather to plug an external audio device seeing that sound through my audio jack worked than go back to XP as some had suggested I do. If you have a question create a new topic by clicking here and select the appropriate board.
There were no drivers to uninstall.
